Malcolm Walker was born in Yorkshire Son of a Scot, a dangerous combination some say. He trained as an accountant and then followed a career in sales, both of which proved a sound base to start a business. In 1977 Malcolm started his business in lighting. This was very successful and was sold in 2000. Retirement allowed time to see some of the world and the golf course.

Malcolm has been on several sailing holidays in the Western Isles and also in warmer climes, Turkey, The West Indies and Greece. The most memorable being in the Whitsundays, with his wife and two daughters, just prior to Christmas 2002.

With his friend and working partner Vince Spooner the much talked about challenge of circumnavigating the UK is looming very close. Reading the log on the web site and on their return should be fun good luck and safe sailing.
